Tenant committee

Tenant democracy gives the tenants a chance to partake and affect their own living environment. It also gives a chance to receive information about the financing of the foundation, the condition and maintenance of residential buildings, based on the Finnish legislation.

The tenant committee is a body made of DAS tenants. The members of the committee are chosen amongst the tenants in a yearly meeting that is organized on the later hald of each year. The term of office of the committee is one calendar year and the committee assembles whenever necessary. DAS tenants also have their representatives in the Board of DAS. You will find the contact information of the tenant committee members here.

The tenant committee supervises the tenants' benefits and handles the initiatives and complaints made by the tenants and also makes decisions on the order regulations. The tenant committee has a yearly budget that is to be used for the benefit of the tenants.
