Collecting your keys

You can collect your keys and move into your apartment from 12 noon on the start date of your tenancy agreement.

If you are unable to collect the keys yourself, you can authorise another person to collect them for you.

Email the authorisation to DAS Customer Service at dasaspa@das.fi. Include the following information:

  • your name and date of birth
  • the name and date of birth of the person you authorise.

The authorised person must present a valid proof of identity when collecting the keys.

Key Handover Service

If you – or someone you authorize – are unable to collect the apartment keys during our opening hours before your move, you can use the key handover service. To use this service, please submit the form. Key Service Request Form

The Apartment Card and Inspection

Check the apartment’s condition immediately after moving to the apartment. The Apartment Card is filled out electronically. You will receive a link to your email in the beginning of the first month of your tenancy through which the card can be filled. If you are to report faults that require maintenance, remember to fill out a separate Note of Fault in the end of the card.

By checking the apartment, you are making sure that you are not responsible for the possible flaws that have been caused by the previous tenant. Be thorough for your own good. In unclear cases, contact maintenance service.

Moving Checklist

    Submit a change of address notification

    File a change of address notification with the Digital and Population Data Services Agency and Posti in good time. If necessary, purchase Posti’s mail forwarding service.

    Internet connection

    DASnetti is a Telia building internet service. The contract for the internet connection is made directly with Telia, and when moving out, the resident terminates the contract through Telia’s customer service. DASnetti is included in the rent.

    Insurance

    Obtain home insurance – it covers damage to the building, your belongings, as well as bicycles and other equipment. Home insurance is an inexpensive way to cover costs for any damage caused to neighbors or to the foundation’s property.

    Check the condition of the apartment

    Immediately after moving in, inspect the condition of your apartment and report any defects when filling in the electronic apartment condition report.

    House rules

    All DAS buildings follow public order regulations as well as the rules of Domus Arctica Foundation, prepared together with the tenant committees for the benefit of all residents. The house rules were sent to you with your housing offer, but you can also read them via the link below.
