You will receive the key(s) at the start of the rental period, once you have signed your rental agreement.

  • If your lease begins on a weekday, you can pick up the keys and move in on the same day your lease begins.
  • If your lease begins on a weekend or a holiday, you can pick up the keys and move in on the next business day.

Please notice that you must always bring your valid ID when you are picking up your keys. If you cannot pick up the keys by yourself, you can authorize someone else to do it for you.  In this case, please send an email to DAS Customer Service (dasaspa@das.fi). The email must include the personal information (date of birth) of both you and the person you have authorized.

Keys to the apartment

The tenant will receive one set of keys for a shared apartment, two sets of keys for a studio or a two-room apartment and three sets of keys for a three-room apartment. The keys fit, depending on the building, the front door, the apartment/room door, mail locker and the lock in the storage space.


Additional keys to the apartment

The tenant can receive additional keys without a cost to the apartment as followed; two sets of keys for a studio or a shared apartment, four sets of keys for a two-room apartment and six sets of keys for a three-room apartment.

If the tenant wants extra keys, the extra keys will be ordered by DAS and the costs will be charged from the tenant. Regarding the additional keys, please contact always DAS Customer service, dasaspa@das.fi. Tenant is not allowed to make the extra keys by themself. If the tenant makes an extra key by themself, they have to pay the cost of serializing the locks.

Key Service

If you are unable to pick up the keys to your apartment during our office hours when you move in, you can order a key delivery service (for a charge) at a time that suits you. You can order the key service using this form: The key delivery service.

Lost Keys

If you lose your key, immediately make a note of faul and also contact DAS Customer Service as soon as possible. If you forget your keys inside your apartment, call the Door Opening –service. You will be charged for the service.

When you move out

When you move out, the keys must be returned to the DAS Customer Service and they must not be left in the apartment. The key/keys must be returned by 12 o’clock in the afternoon on the next working day after the tenancy has ended.

When DAS Customer Service is closed, you can return the keys to the office mail box in an envelope with your contact details on top.
