Domus Arctica Foundations rents will increase in January 2026

The rents of the Domus Arctica Foundation (DAS) state-subsidized houses are based on the cost principle. This means that rental income must cover annual maintenance and capital expenses. The rent is checked yearly, while making the budget. 

For the foundation's responsible and proactive financial management, it is important that rent development considers the general price level and the maintenance needs of the foundation's properties. Due to the rise in the general price level, the foundation's costs have increased. As a result of rising costs, the Board of DAS has decided at its meeting on 28.10.2025 to increase the rents per square metre of the foundation's state-subsidized apartments by 4.0% as of 1.1.2026. The tenant committee has also supported unanimously the rent increase. 

The monthly parking fee will increase by €1. Starting January 1, 2026, the parking fee will be €10/month. No other usage fees will be increased in 2026. 

The new rents will be updated in the January 2026 rent invoices.
